A sustainable stamp card app for trend-conscious individuals.

STOMPY

After completing intensive UX/UI training in a bootcamp, I learned how to apply my branding skills to the digital field. This included creating styles in Figma, working on components, animations, and prototyping. With my conceptual background, I also pitched features and their animations. Additionally, I contributed to storytelling, ensuring the concept was communicated clearly and had that ‘wow’ factor.

Stompy Logo
The logomark reflects an urban, youthful vibe with maze-like possibilities and a stamp-inspired aesthetic. The color palette was modern and trendy, used consistently across the app, including the card view. I also pitched features like the stamp exchange and its animations. On top of that, I helped with the presentation and storytelling, making sure the concept came across clearly and had that wow factor. By week four, we dove into high-fidelity wireframes and finalized the prototype.

STORE PROFILE
Stores benefit from complete flexibility: they can create their own stamp cards, upload images, and customize promotions. Through flexible notification settings, stores can directly reach their customers.
Scenario: Setting Up a Digital Stamp Card
The owner of a wine bar has just opened her dream establishment. She learns about Stompy, an app that helps attract new customers by offering a digital solution to traditional stamp cards.
The wine bar owner has already created an account and is ready to design her first digital stamp card. Her goal is to offer a reward: a free drink after a certain number of stamps.
EXPLORE THE MAP
The new openings are marked on the map and are represented by a highlighted geo-pin.
Scenario: Hannah Navigates Using the Stompy Map Feature
Hannah, our created persona for this project, wants to log back into her Stompy app. A friend mentioned that the restaurant Ernando’s is supposed to be amazing. “I’ll add it to my Top 5,” Hannah thinks to herself as she starts searching for the restaurant. But wait—what’s this? A brand-new place just opened nearby! Intrigued, Hannah decides to check it out.
PAY, COLLECT, DONATE
Our goal was to create a sustainable app feature that combines collecting stamps, making payments, and donating—all in one seamless flow. The feature is designed to save time and make it easy for NGOs to receive donations equivalent to the reward value from Stompy stores.
Scenario: Stompy with Donation Option
Hannah uses the integrated payment system to collect Stompys while completing her payment. Her stamp card fills up, accompanied by a smooth animation. Inspired to give back, she explores the donation feature, reads about WWF, and scrolls through visuals. Excited, she donates her reward for a good cause.
EXCHANGE WITH FRIENDS
During our UX research, we discovered that many stamps from cities users don’t revisit often lose their value or end up discarded. To address this, we introduced the stamp exchange feature in Stompy, allowing users to trade stamps with friends. This fosters community engagement while ensuring stamps retain their value.
Scenario: Stompy exchange with friends
Hannah is spending time with her friends and decides to review her stamp cards. From her internship at the Berlin-based second-hand store Second Chance, she collected five stamps. Wanting to surprise her friend from Berlin, she initiates a stamp exchange request using the app. Since Hannah doesn’t plan to return to Berlin anytime soon, the stamp exchange feature is the perfect solution.

I created the branding for the digital app, including the logo, and developed the Figma design system, UI kit, components, animations, user flow, and task flow.
