SELF-INITIATED DEMONSTRATION - this is not client work. Nobody hired me to build it and I make no claims about revenue, conversions or results for anyone. It exists so you can check that the pipeline works and inspect the output yourself.
WHAT IT DOES
Three Python pipelines pull public government and company data over REST APIs and emit deduped CSVs in which every row carries the public source URL it came from, so any single row can be independently re-verified.
1. NYC RESTAURANT PEST SIGNALS
Source: NYC Open Data, DOHMH New York City Restaurant Inspection Results (dataset 43nn-pn8j), public domain.
Window 2026-08-07 to 2026-09-02: 1,056 pest-related citations across 829 unique restaurants.
Per row: restaurant, borough, address, zip, phone, cuisine, last inspection date, which pest findings (rats / mice / live roaches / filth flies), distinct pest-violation count, inspection score, grade-pending flag, CAMIS permit id, and a source record URL.
2. NYC DEBRIS-GENERATING BUILDING PERMITS
Source: NYC Open Data, DOB NOW: Build - Approved Permits (dataset rbx6-tga4), public domain.
Permits issued since 2026-08-07: 5,041 relevant. By work type: General Construction 3,141 / Structural 957 / Foundation 457 / Earth Work 238 / Support of Excavation 140 / Full Demolition 108.
3. HIRING VELOCITY FROM PUBLIC ATS BOARDS
Source: publicly published Greenhouse and Lever job boards. No login, nothing behind auth.
167 board slugs probed, 28 live boards found, 1,952 open postings, scanned 2026-09-07.
Per row: company, ATS type, open roles, new postings in the last 7 days, careers URL.
SANITIZED SAMPLE OUTPUT (verbatim rows, personal data absent - these are business records)
Pest feed, header + 2 of 829 rows:

HOW IT IS BUILT
Python 3 against Socrata (SoQL queries) and vendor REST endpoints, with pagination, retry and rate-limit handling; normalisation and dedupe in plain Python; CSV out. Each pipeline is one re-runnable script, so the feed refreshes on demand. The counts above are exactly what the scripts returned on the dates shown, and they will move as the underlying datasets update.
HONEST LIMITS
- Public, auth-free, published data only. Nothing behind a login, paywall or bot check, and nothing evaded.
- The counts are point-in-time snapshots, not a live index.
- "New in the last 7 days" uses each board's own posted-at field, which some boards backfill.
- The samples above are deliberately truncated 10-row extracts, not the full feeds.
- No claim is made that any of these records converted into business for anyone.
