The Concept

Whisk. is a concept brand for a monthly matcha subscription service. The idea was to build a brand that feels clean, modern, and grounded, something that could sit comfortably in the premium wellness space without feeling overly minimal or sterile.

Logo Design

The logo was designed to be simple and memorable, pairing a custom wordmark with a kitsune, a mythical fox from Japanese folklore. The choice ties back to matcha's Japanese roots while giving the brand a distinctive, story-driven mark. The goal was something that works across packaging, digital, and print without losing its character at small sizes.
The logo came together after the box design was already finished, so it didn't make it onto the packaging. In hindsight, the two pieces complement each other well and a future iteration would bring them together.
The logo drew on visual inspiration from existing brands in the space.

Packaging

The subscription box was designed to feel premium and worth displaying, not just functional. The direction leaned into earthy tones and clean layout to reflect the matcha product inside.
This is a personal concept project, not produced for a client.
