I first met with Dolly and discussed with her what she felt was lacking in her current website. Though it worked and displayed all the necessary information for her business, it was not attracting new customers and also had the potential to overwhelm a viewer with too much on-screen. She wanted a website that would be visually attractive to viewers and easy to navigate, while still thoroughly explaining what her business is and its identity. Additionally, she wanted to improve traffic to her website with SEO, which she did not have any experience with. I noted the target demographics for her business and the critical components on her existing website, then drafted proposals for global changes to it. Once Dolly and I agreed on a direction to edit her website, I went ahead and applied changes on each page and her built-in SEO on Weebly until they were cohesive and modernized. I also designed a simple logo for her business, as she lacked one before, and once that was approved and implemented her new website went live.
