Built with Webflow

Black-owned Brands Accelerator Website Implementation | YUMEDA

Carol Loiola

Project

I had the opportunity to contribute to an exciting project in partnership with Zalando and ADAN Impact GmbH: the Black-owned Brands Accelerator. This six-month program, running from September 2024 to February 2025, is designed to help Black-owned fashion brands scale their businesses on major e-commerce platforms like Zalando. The program covers brand building, marketing, logistics, finance, and product safety, and concludes with an in-person Pitch Day in Berlin.
For this project, I collaborated through YUMEDA Studio, where I was responsible for implementing the website using Webflow.
Currently one new section has been added to the website, but here you can check it out what I have implemented myself:

Process

1. Webflow setup, design implementation & custom development

Creating and setting up the webflow project.
Building layout and structure of pages.
Ensuring responsive design across devices.

2. Custom development, CMS and data integration

Custom code implementation, such as text animations, CMS-driven sliders.
Setting up and creating CMS collections.
Adding all data to the website.

3. Testing and debugging

Thorough testing and debugging processes to ensure functionality.
Continuous performance improvements.

4. Launch

Setting up and connecting to custom domain.
Deploying the website for public access.
