Design Motif to Celebrate National Holidays in Turkey

Strong imagery of a person, character or representation, especially one steeped into the culture or history of country, can be difficult to justify.

Typically when representing the core values of a country, there is very little you can do, it demonstrating your take of national symbols. Hence the consideration of subtlety is required, but still deliver a bold representation.

Here with the very fabric of one of Ataturk's speeches are the vocabulary that defines the portrait image of Ataturk. The stark contrast of black and white allows the image to pop out, but given dramatic shift in colour of the Turkish flag, how can we use bot images together?

A simple effect of transparency and introduction of light to highlight his portrait is utilized, and whilst the effect is limited here. When applied as an animated image both as a gif and mp4 file, the challenge of justifying such an iconic image is more clear and better defined.
