It happens to us all... That pivotal moment of recognition when our new business card arrive... For some us, its a celebration, for the rest of us, a disappointment. I'm sure you've all seen that iconic scene from American Psycho, when they are all jockeying for the best business card.
But what is it after all? A means to an end to identify oneself? An act of promotion? A mere device to act as an icebreaker in conversation? Maybe a talking point to others when networking and sharing?
In it simplicity, the classic business card is a device of communication: Here I am, this is me, this is what I do, this is where I am, this is how to reach me...
But how often do we see the same format, and the impression from the business card is either flat or uninteresting, or they try too hard to dazzle us with colour and shape, which detracts from the whole purpose of the card, i.e. Identity and communication.
We take all of this into consideration to produce simplicity itself... ensuring uniformity and a universal line that can share so much... In terms of marketing and strategy, its quite remarkable how the line of our email, can deliver additional information too.
