They an image can often speak a thousand words, but sometimes finding the perfect image to communicate a specific message sometimes needs a little creative manipulation.

Case in point: The British / Turkish Bilateral Trade Agreement, which was signed into effect at the beginning of the year.

With something so considerable to many markets of enterprise in both countries its often hard to reflect the importance of this relationship. Even more so what it represents in terms of trade worth 20 billion Euros this year.

All to often the commonality of displaying a straightforward split flag tends to be the mundane image of representation, i.e., below:

But what about introducing visual metaphors... For instance during the Brexit negotiations, the previous bilateral agreement was null and void, and largely due to the extended negotiations, many enterprises felt that their bridges had been burnt.

So what better image to demonstrate the building or rebuilding of bridges (relationships) of the Bilateral Trade Agreement than the icon bridges of Istanbul and London.

The hard part is find suitable images that can signify difference and similarity at the same time... Of course Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are marvelous tools but they cannot perform miracles. Here in the shot below, you can see how well the two bridge images are blended together, and the angle of composition are almost flawless.
