Nutribel a food processing wanted to professionalize its back office operations and financial reporting. They engaged my services to implement QuickBooks to digitize their accounting system. The key aspects of the project involved setting up a new QuickBooks company file from scratch and customizing it to the company's specific needs. This included creating customized charts of accounts, items, customer and vendor lists. We then worked on entering all historical transaction data from inception into the appropriate accounts to build the chart of accounts and populate key financial reports. Considerable time was spent on data entry of past sales invoices, purchase bills, journal entries etc. into QuickBooks. Other areas of focus were automating recurring processes like payroll, inventory management and customizing reports for accounts receivable, accounts payable and trial balance. Once set up, we provided training to the accounts team on day to day operations and periodic financial reporting using QuickBooks. This implementation helped Nutribel to modernize its back office and financial reporting capabilities.
