The Name

Anubis the ancient Egyptian god of protection, mummification, and the afterlife, depicted with the head of a jackal. The choice is deliberate: like the Doberman's own cropped-ear silhouette, Anubis presents a striking, guardian figure that commands respect. The jackal, a wild canid, bridges the ancient and the noble a fitting namesake for a breed born of purpose and refined into excellence.

The Positioning
