What I brought to it: Two contributions defined this project. The first was creative instinct: early in the process, I identified that the film needed at least one shot of the aircraft in flight. A reveal film for an aircraft that never leaves the ground is missing its essential truth. Getting that shot meant navigating significant legal clearance hurdles, but one shot was secured, and it changed the film. The second contribution was structural: managing an edit through an extensive, multi-level approval process without letting the piece lose its identity in the process. Client comments accumulated as the approval moved up the chain of command. The challenge was absorbing those comments, adapting where necessary, and holding the style and tone of the film together throughout. Keeping a creative vision coherent under institutional pressure is a discipline in itself.
