For The Love Of Alex Inc Operating System

For many low-income households, the cost of emergency and life-saving veterinary care for their beloved pets can be an overwhelming financial burden. For The Love Of Alex (FTLOA) fundraises to provide urgent and emergency veterinary care for cats and dogs whose owners cannot afford it.
We carefully vet applicants to protect our donors’ interests. Pet owners must provide proof of their financial status through tax returns or other documentation to be approved as beneficiaries. FTLOA pays veterinarians, pharmacies, and pet food distributors directly to ensure the pet receives the necessary care and prescribed nutrition.
FTLOA is dedicated to the well-being of both the pet and its owner, from the initial need for care until the animal receives a clean bill of health. This support helps prevent owners from having to surrender their pets to shelters or resort to economic euthanasia due to financial hardship.
We collaborated closely with FTLOA’s small team to enhance their capabilities through tools, automation, and a single source of truth. In the non-profit world, efficient staff and systems mean more funds go directly to the cause.
FTLOA now operates on a single database built in SmartSuite, where all its operations are centralized. Integrated with Donorbox for payment processing, all data is consolidated in their database, allowing them to manage campaigns, pet cases, and expenses effectively. This setup provides quick analytics and enables real-time decisions about which pets they can help with the generous support from their donors.
Other tools are tightly integrated with this platform to maintain a streamlined and efficient operation.
Tech Stack: SmartSuite, Fillout, Relay.app, Donorbox, G Suite, Mailchimp, Softr.
