Vinca is a fine jewelry studio based in Kansas City, known for bespoke engagement rings and in-house craftsmanship. When we started working together, Vinca had strong instincts, beautiful work, and talented collaborators — but lacked a cohesive system connecting brand, content, and conversion.
My role was to design and implement that system.
This wasn’t a rebrand.
It was a structural upgrade — aligning craft, storytelling, social, and website experience into one clear, scalable ecosystem.
The Challenge
Vinca faced a familiar problem for high-quality, craft-driven brands:
Incredible product and process, but inconsistent presentation
Content existed, but wasn’t clearly laddering toward outcomes
Website lacked standardized product pages and narrative flow
Social content performed visually, but wasn’t fully intentional
Bespoke inquiries existed, but weren’t being actively designed for
The risk wasn’t lack of talent — it was fragmentation.
The Strategy
We focused on building systems first, not surface polish.
Everything revolved around one principle:
Make craft visible, legible, and trustworthy — everywhere.
That led to five core pillars:
1. Craft as the Center of the Brand
Instead of “marketing jewelry,” we positioned Vinca as a working studio.
Bench-level documentation
Quiet, observational footage
Process over performance
Real materials, real hands, real time
This informed:
Social content
Website structure
Bespoke storytelling
Ad creative
Craft wasn’t content — it was proof.
Social Media Posts
2. A Scalable Content System (Not Just Posts)
We designed a content cadence that could actually be sustained:
2 reels per week (process, people, or product)
1 static post (clarity, grounding, or announcement)
Stories as documentation, not graphics
Clear roles for in-store capture, studio shoots, and collaborators
Every piece of content had a job:
Attract
Build trust
Or move someone closer to inquiry
Nothing existed “just to post.”
Social Media Stories
3. Product Page & Website System Design
Rather than redesigning everything at once, we created standards:
A “gold standard” product page
A “good enough” version when assets are incomplete
We partnered with Vinca to help transform a growing body of content, products, and stories into a cohesive system social, website and internal workflows.
