I built an automation that tracks every receipt automatically using Telegram, Mistral OCR, Gemini and Google Sheets.

Here's exactly how it works:

I send a photo of my receipt via Telegram. The image gets picked up automatically and saved into Google Drive. Mistral OCR extracts the raw text from the receipt image. Gemini then analyses the extracted text and pulls out the important details, store name, total amount and date. Everything gets logged neatly into Google Sheets automatically, including a direct link back to the original receipt in Google Drive.

One photo sent. Everything tracked. Forever.

No manual data entry. No lost receipts. No end of month guessing about what you spent and where.

This works for personal expense tracking and for businesses managing operational spending across multiple categories.
