How I got started on the Wokpa Project
I joined the Wokpa to tackle critical challenges in user engagement and conversion rates, which were significantly impacted by the application's limitations on mobile devices. My contributions focused on improving user experience and addressing specific pain points:
Mobile Responsiveness and Scalability:
Worked on optimizing the client-side application for mobile devices to address the low user conversion rates caused by its initial web-only design.
Enhanced scalability to ensure seamless functionality across various mobile platforms.
This effort resulted in a 30% increase in user conversions, showcasing the impact of prioritizing mobile accessibility.
New Landing Page Design:
Designed and implemented a modern, user-centric landing page to improve first impressions and guide users effectively through the application.
Focused on improving navigation, visual appeal, and conversion-driving elements.
Payment UI with Geolocation:
Developed a user interface enabling payments in the user's local currency or the currency of their current location, leveraging geolocation technology.
