Project Overview

Brand: ISS (Streetwear)
ISS is a contemporary streetwear brand built around bold self-expression, individuality, and underground culture. The goal of this project was to create a strong, recognizable brand identity that feels raw, modern, and confident—something that resonates with street culture, youth fashion, and digital-first audiences.
This case study showcases the full brand identity direction, with a primary focus on logo design and visual language.

The Challenge

The main challenge was to design an identity that:
Feels bold and edgy without being overly complex
Works seamlessly across clothing, tags, social media, and digital platforms
Reflects the attitude of streetwear culture—rebellious, expressive, and modern
Stands out in a highly saturated streetwear market
ISS needed a logo and identity that could exist as a symbol, not just a wordmark.

Brand Strategy & Concept

The identity for ISS is built on three core values:
Individuality – Encouraging people to stand apart
Strength – Confidence, bold presence, and sharp attitude
Mystery – A minimal yet aggressive aesthetic that sparks curiosity
The concept focuses on creating a symbol that feels iconic, abstract, and timeless, allowing the brand to grow beyond trends.

Logo Design

The ISS logo is designed as a symbolic mark rather than a traditional typographic logo.

Key Characteristics:

Sharp, fluid shapes that represent movement and energy
Abstract form to allow multiple interpretations
Vertical structure that feels strong and confident
Designed to work as a standalone icon on apparel
The logo is intentionally minimal, making it versatile for:
T-shirts and hoodies
Labels and tags
Social media avatars
Packaging and digital assets

Color Palette

The primary color choice is a vibrant electric purple, placed against a deep black background.

Color Meaning:

Purple – Power, creativity, individuality, and rebellion
Black – Authority, mystery, and timelessness
This high-contrast combination gives ISS a bold visual presence while staying true to streetwear aesthetics.

Visual Identity Style

The overall visual system follows a dark, minimal, and high-impact direction.

Design Elements:

Minimal backgrounds
High contrast visuals
Logo-centric layouts
Strong negative space
This allows the brand to maintain consistency while staying flexible for future collections and campaigns.

The logo remains clear and powerful even at small sizes, which is essential for fashion branding.

Outcome

The final result is a strong, modern streetwear identity that feels confident, minimal, and expressive. The ISS brand now has a recognizable visual foundation that can grow with future drops, collaborations, and campaigns.
