Dynamic Shopify Store for Dance & Activewear Brand

This project was for Kicks Dance Shoes & Activewear, a Shopify store selling dance shoes and activewear for women and girls. The brand caters to dancers across styles like ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and specialty, so the store needed to reflect movement, energy, and creativity rather than feeling like a standard ecommerce catalog.

The goal was to create a shopping experience that feels engaging and expressive, helping customers connect with the products before making a purchase. The site needed to make it easy to browse by style and category while showcasing how the products actually look and move in real life.

One of the main challenges was incorporating dynamic media without hurting performance, especially on mobile. Hover-based videos and motion-heavy visuals needed to feel smooth and responsive while keeping load times fast. Organizing products and filters clearly across multiple dance styles was another key consideration.

The final Shopify store uses interactive elements like hover-triggered product videos to bring the products to life while maintaining a fast, intuitive shopping experience.
