I lead and executed a very large project to create the Paid Social platform, which processes advertising data for Sprout Social. This involved building the project in one environment and data center and then migrating it to a new data center as the result of merging companies after Sprout Social's acquisition of Simply Measured. The product was released in many iterations and the data center migration was done in iterative phases with zero app downtime.

This project had similar technical elements as the Competitor Reporting project (ingestion, processing, and analytics APIs).

We decided as a team to complete the back-end work on Simply Measured's stack and deliver the core customer value and migrate the platform to Sprout Social's data center as a follow-up. While this created complexity on the back-end, it prioritized delivering customer value as quickly as possible.
