Gaspaddy is a mobile application designed to revolutionize cooking gas purchase. Gaspaddy aims to take the hassle out of gas purchase by offering door pickup and delivery. With Gaspaddy, users are able to monitor gas prices and also track gas quantity

The problem Gaspaddy intends solving is to eliminate the inconvenience users face when cooking gas runs out and also for users who do not have easy access to nearby gas stations. This app fixes the challenge of hauling heavy gas cylinders to and from the gas stations for users without vehicles. Addresses the challenge of varying gas prices by always keeping users informed on latest prices. Our Solution is to create a platform that pairs users with nearby gas stations and also provide delivery service at affordable rates.

As lead designer, one of the main challenges I experienced while working on this project was lack of sufficient reference. The sector is one which although it exists, has not been fully explored and thus there were only a handful of references for inspiration. We had to dive deep and explore external sources while still trying to create a familiar user experience.

Working through a tight deadline and also working on a sector that has not been fully explored while delivering a result the client and myself were equally satisfied with gave me a lot of confidence. I learnt to think outside the box and go outside my comfort zone and that has really improved my skills as a UX Designer.
