If you are building something similar

If you are building a course or education platform — and you are worried that the default course-industry conventions (pricing models, copy frameworks, design aesthetics) don't fit your actual audience — this engagement is directly relevant to you.
WashPros teaches people how to start and grow a commercial fleet washing business. The founder, Ryan Getsinger, built a real seven-figure operation starting with a single truck, a pressure washer, and no industry connections. The platform has genuine credibility, a real product, and a 94.6K+ existing audience. The problem was that the initial go-to-market strategy defaulted to course-industry conventions that were built for a white-collar professional development buyer — not for a blue-collar first-time entrepreneur budgeting for real startup costs. Pricing, tone, and structure all needed recalibration around the actual buyer before anything was built.
If you are a founder building a course, community, or education platform for an audience that the course industry's defaults don't fit — this is the kind of work Foundrline does.
The course industry has pricing and copy conventions that make sense for professional development buyers and are completely wrong for first-time trade entrepreneurs. The entire WashPros engagement was built on refusing to confuse the two.

What Was Built — and What It Can Do for Your Platform

Brand strategy and audience segmentation
Four distinct audience segments mapped (Side-Hustlers, Career-Changers, Existing Operators, Team Builders), each with a different relationship to the product's price, a different entry point into the funnel, and a different urgency profile. Brand voice locked as 'straight-shooter who's actually done this' — direct, no hype, no income guarantees, no lifestyle posturing. Bling Chemicals used as a third-party credibility badge with its own visual identity, never blended into the WashPros brand system.
For your platform: if your brand voice sounds like the course industry rather than like you, it is because the defaults are loud and the correction requires deliberate decisions about what to exclude as much as what to include.
Pricing research and architecture
Three models built and evaluated against the buyer's actual spending context. Option B selected: Masterclass at $697 (or 2x $377), 1:1 Coaching at $247 per session, Live Experience at $499 per ticket. No competitor in the niche sells a standalone course above $1,000 — WashPros could have gone premium, but the risk of pricing out the primary buyer whose equipment startup costs compete directly with the course price was real. Option B was the right balance.
For your platform: pricing a course against competing course prices is only half the analysis. The other half is understanding what else your buyer is spending money on in the same decision window — and whether your price competes with that or complements it.
Offer ladder and automated cross-sell
Four-tier ladder:
Free Resource (lead magnet, top-of-funnel) → Masterclass ($697, primary revenue driver) → Coaching ($247/session, high-touch upsell) → Live Experience ($499/ticket, scarcity-driven quarterly event).
Masterclass students automatically receive 20% off Coaching and Live Experience via post-purchase email and permanent dashboard link — turning the flagship course into a feeder for higher-margin offers rather than a terminal purchase.
All-Access Bundle embedded contextually rather than built as a fifth destination page.
For your platform: an offer ladder only works if each tier naturally feeds the next. The cross-sell mechanism has to be automatic and earned (post-purchase, not pre-purchase) to feel like a reward rather than a upsell.
Funnel architecture — cold and warm traffic separated
Hard separation between cold ad landing pages (single conversion goal, full persuasion arc, delayed price reveal, consolidated FAQ) and warm website pages (multi-CTA, exploratory, lower pressure). The Masterclass LP, Coaching LP, and Live Experience LP were each built as long-form cold-traffic pages with distinct urgency mechanisms calibrated to the specific offer. The homepage and About page were built as warm discovery pages.
For your platform: if your course landing page and your homepage use the same template, you are either over-pressuring warm visitors or under-converting cold ones. They are different products serving different visitor states.
11-page industrial design system in Framer
A distinctive work-order aesthetic: ticket-framed sections, bolt corners, hazard-stripe dividers, WO-numbered tab labels, stamped elements. Typography locked as Bebas Neue (display) + IBM Plex Sans (body) + IBM Plex Mono (utility). Colour system: Steel Charcoal, Concrete, Safety Yellow, Chemical Blue, Signal Red. Every visual element chosen for its reference in the blue-collar work environment — not for generic digital design appeal.
For your platform: your audience has a visual reference world built from the environments they work in. A design system that references that world feels credible and authentic in ways that a generic SaaS aesthetic never can, regardless of how polished it is.
Complete Kajabi infrastructure
9-module Masterclass course with 4 bonuses.
Two-payment checkout. Automated 20% cross-sell discount for existing students.
Private student community distinct from public Facebook group.
Mobile access via Kajabi's native app.
Framer handles all public marketing surfaces; Kajabi handles everything behind the paywall.
For your platform: the Framer/Kajabi split gives you a custom-designed, high-performance public site and a fully managed course and community infrastructure behind the paywall — without a custom mobile build or a separately managed community platform.
