Elementor V4 Master Site Development for Web Studio

The problem

A UK web studio builds websites for local service businesses: plumbers, accountants, tutors, cleaners. The owner wanted to launch each new client site quickly, without rebuilding layouts from scratch, and without every site looking like the last one. I designed and built it as a master site in Elementor's new V4 editor.

Put every style decision in tokens

A Style Pack is a set of values, not a set of layouts. Colour roles, fonts, radii, shadows and section rhythm live in Elementor V4 Variables and Global Classes. Colours are named by role (primary, surface-alt), never by look, so a green pack still has a "primary". Importing a pack restyles the whole site, and a new custom theme is just a new set of values.

Build every page from one named library

Pages are assembled from saved sections and small components, each with a strict name: prefix, category, variant. Categories come from a closed list, and a name never changes once a template is in use, so search and cloning stay predictable. The four demo homepages mix different variants from the same library, which is why they don't look related.

Hand it over to someone who isn't a developer

The owner isn't a developer and runs the system himself, so the handover had to work without me. Business details such as phone, email, address and hours live on one ACF options page and feed every template. He got a reference manual, a step-by-step playbook, a visual catalogue of every template and video tutorials. The master itself ships as one clean .wpress file, ready to clone.

Challenges along the way

Classic Global Fonts ignored pack imports, so every font goes through V4 Variables and typography classes.
ACF Repeaters in Display Conditions caused fatal errors, so business fields are flat text, email and URL only.
Large templates threw 500 errors on save until I raised max_input_vars and related PHP limits on Hostinger.
The master export carried plugin leftovers and a debug log; I cleaned the database and cut the log out of the .wpress archive with a small Python parser.

Outcome

The master runs live at thefreewebsitecompany.co.uk with the FlowFix pack, and the same structure carries ClearPath, BrightPath and NovaClean. A new client site starts as a clone, takes a pack or a fresh set of token values, and is assembled from the library, with no code. The kit, documentation and video tutorials were handed over in September 2026.

What I particularly appreciated was her commitment to building the system properly rather than simply completing the immediate task. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work and would have no hesitation recommending Olha for WordPress, Elementor or more complex website-system projects. — The client
