Short Film
Tortuga is a drama-suspence short film that immerses us in the identity search journey of little Fanny, who fascinated with her turtle pet, longs to become one and submerge into their world.
In this short film, the Production Design focused on breaking down the concept of the turtle. Since Fanny is fascinated and obsessed with this animal, through a restricted color pallet, the use of heavy textures, and subtle makeup transformations, we try to emulate Fanny's perspective of the world. Meanwhile, to accompany the feeling of anguish that invades her father for not understanding her, we created an atmosphere of tension supported by concepts such as humidity, camouflage, and wildness.
