About love & other misfortunes, reveals the secrets kept by a group of women during a time when only the sovereignty of territories was discussed, while the sovereignty of hearts was ignored. Passion, desire, orphanhood, poverty, death, and divine punishment are the common elements that oscillate in these six chapters, where each of our heroines will star in an episode. As the Art Director, I was in charge of designing and executing the sets, props, and characters of the series. Making sure to create, through composition, texture, and color usage, a proper atmosphere both for enriching the narrative, and for having the public resonate with the main concepts of the series - the unveiling, the battle between duty vs. passions, the feminine identity, and the resilience.
