Designing a platform like Sidq came with its own set of thoughtful, real-world challenges:

Balancing Emotional Sensitivity with Functional Clarity Philanthropy is emotional. Designing a UI that respects the human side of giving, while still being clear and efficient, was key. we had to create an interface that feels warm, trustworthy, and non-commercial, without sacrificing usability.

Designing for Transparency Without Overload Users need visibility into donation flows, progress reports, and vetting steps, but too much information can overwhelm. The challenge was to simplify complex processes and surface only the most relevant information at each step.

Crafting Seamless Roles & Permissions Between donors, leads, families, and anonymous contributors, roles can vary widely. We had to design flexible user flows that adapt based on role, without confusing users or making the experience feel fragmented.

Creating Trust Through Design Every pixel needed to reinforce credibility. From language to colour schemes to interaction feedback, the goal was to visually reassure users that their contributions are safe, traceable, and impactful.

Supporting Flexibility Without Complication Giving anonymously, opting in or out of causes, and participating in distribution all require design flexibility. The challenge was building this freedom into the experience without adding friction or confusion to the core flow.
