Fespries Afrikan Cuisine is a Nigerian startup focused on delivering authentic African dishes. The challenge was to create a seamless food delivery experience for users and an intuitive delivery agent flow for drivers. The project also required a robust admin dashboard for managing orders, agents, and restaurant listings.

As the sole UX designer, I handled:

User Research: Conducted research with target users to understand pain points in food ordering and delivery processes.

Designing the Delivery Agent Flow: Created an efficient on-boarding and order management system for delivery agents.

Admin Dashboard Design: Designed an admin panel to manage users, food categories, orders, and payments.

The client needed a food delivery app that catered to both customers and delivery agents. Additionally, the admin team needed an easy-to-use dashboard for managing various aspects of the service.

User Research: I conducted surveys and interviews with users and delivery agents to identify pain points in the ordering and delivery process.

Competitive Analysis: Analyzed local competitors (e.g., Jumia Food) to ensure our design provided a competitive edge.

User Flows: Designed user flows for the customer journey, delivery agent on-boarding, and admin management.

Wireframes: Developed wireframes for both the mobile app (delivery agent flow) and the web app (admin dashboard).

High-Fidelity Designs: Created polished, interactive prototypes that emphasized a user-friendly interface with smooth transitions and intuitive interactions.

The delivery agent flow guides users through the app with the following screens:

On-boarding Screens: Clear, step-by-step guides to help delivery agents understand how to accept, view, pick up, and deliver orders.

Order Management: Simple screens to track orders, see earnings, and manage tasks efficiently.

I designed a dashboard that enables admins to:

Manage Orders: View, update, and process customer orders.

Monitor Delivery Agents: Track the status of delivery agents and their performance.

Update Listings: Easily manage restaurant listings, food categories, and promotions.

Conducted usability testing with real users and delivery agents, gathering feedback to improve the overall experience. Based on feedback, I made refinements to ensure clarity and ease of use, especially for the delivery agent flow.

Increased Efficiency: The delivery agent on-boarding flow significantly reduced the time agents needed to start accepting orders.

Improved User Experience: Customer feedback showed improved satisfaction with the order process and interface.

Streamlined Admin Tasks: The admin dashboard provided a more efficient workflow for managing orders and agents, reducing the time spent on manual processes.
