Problem:

The client had several excel files of the plane's contracts information, which he had to manually download from a webpage and analyse separately. These files also posessed diferent formats, having differences in units's scale and even table formats making the comparison and analysis of all the files almost impossible.

Task:

Create a program that can standarize the different formats of the files.

The program also had to merge all the data from the different files and save it into a database to be later used, this database had to be regularly updated, but also keep data from previous updates.

The program also must take the most updated data from the database and transfer it into reports with custom made graphs, functions and tables that could be used by the client to perform analysis on all the consolidated data.

Solution:

Extraction of data directly from the webpage using python.

Saved all the cleaned and standarized data into a SQL database to be later transfered into the reports.

Exported the files into an excel format, then used macros to transfer that data directly into the reports with the push of a button.

Performed a metaanalisis via excel functions, dashboards and custom dropdowns that the client could select.
