My journey into the world of Dropshiping led me to explore different online platforms for suppliers. As a GEN-Z person, I prefer browsing websites over visiting local markets. When I tried IndiaMART, I found the website to be messy, and my experience wasn't great. Thankfully, “They had a feature to share phone numbers with
suppliers.” But, when it came to placing orders, judging the product quality was tricky because the website only showed pictures, videos, and the user interface. Picking the right products is vital for dropshiping, and the website's look and feel matter a lot.
On the other hand, in China, "Alibaba" is the go-to B2B Marketplace. It looks professional, and their product
pages are well-designed with great photos and videos, providing a smooth user experience.
“Everyone knows that a good user experience leads to better sales”
& this is an area where IndiaMART can improve.
In conclusion, these thoughtful refinements and strategic adjustments in my case study endeavour to elevate the user experience, addressing key pain points and paving the way for a more seamless and user-friendly design
