I designed for Pretty Petals a responsive website for ordering flowers .I worked as an UI/UX Designer for 2 months, this was the second assigned project to me by Google UX design course which I enrolled in. I worked to design an IOS mobile app for Pretty Petals to welcome the varieties of fresh flower and easy ordering process, this was done through rounds of wireframing, prototyping and testing.

The available flower ordering site does not offer variety of flower and customization option.

The Pretty Petals app was designed provide easy navigation process and various variety of flowers.

I conducted user interview , which then i turned into empathy maps to better understand target user and their needs. Discovered that the target user want variety of flower option to send to family ,keeping relations healthy and flower should be available for every occasion. However, few website has got uneasy navigation making user experience challenging

The paper wireframe ensured that elements in the wireframe are well suited to the pain points. For the home screen ,I prioritized a quick and easy ordering process to help users save time.

Based on the user testing, iterated on the previous design and created another iteration of the design, first captured by the following lo-fidelity prototype

The app makes user feel like Pretty Petals really thinks about how to meet their needs. The final design increased the user satisfaction rate.

While designing the Pretty Petals App, I learned that the responsive web deign is something broad and different process. Usability studies and peer feedback brings in more iteration for the app designs
