Branding // On Pointe Dance Studio

Problem: On Pointe Studio is opening its door to anyone who has ever dreamed of dancing. Their mission is to empower anyone, regardless of age, size, race, and skill level, to express themself through the art of dance. The studio looks for a polished branding suit, as well as a set of gorgeous merch so that their dancers can look and feel like they belong to something amazing.

Solution: I decided to make an illustration of pointe shoes with an oval frame to bring out the classy and elegant vibe of ballet. The bow tie also adds gracefulness to the logo, and the flying ribbon signifies the movement of ballet dancers. The primary typeface chosen for On Pointe is a stylish one with a both modern and vintage look, and round corners to give off the friendly, welcoming image of the brand. The color palette consists of the classic black and white, pastel pink, and a slightly dusted blue color, together creating a soft and delicate feel for On Pointe.
