The challenge
Nola’s Garden isn’t a typical flower shop. It’s a premium floral studio built on emotion, story, and purpose, serving high-end clients, venues, and events across Los Angeles. The challenge was to design a website that felt luxurious and editorial, while still being warm, human, and conversion-focused, without drifting into cliché “flower shop” territory.
The idea
We treated the site like a visual narrative, not a catalog. The goal was to balance elegance with intimacy: refined typography, generous white space, and carefully paced sections that let the flowers and the story breathe. Every page was designed to feel calm, intentional, and emotionally grounded, guiding users rather than overwhelming them.
What we did
We designed and built the entire website from the ground up, focusing on hierarchy, flow, and restraint. The homepage leads with confidence, establishing trust through premium visuals and social proof, then gradually invites users into the brand’s deeper story. Service sections were structured to feel tailored rather than transactional, and the portfolio was treated like a gallery, not a grid.
Special attention was given to storytelling on the “Our Story” section. The origin of Nola’s Garden, inspired by love, loss, and compassion, became a central emotional anchor rather than an afterthought. The design intentionally slows the user down here, letting the message land.
