Dupeawaay is an AI-powered application management platform built for developers and AI enthusiasts who need a better way to organize, track, and discover AI tools. I was brought on to create a complete visual identity and marketing design system from scratch.
The brief was clear: build something modern and trustworthy that could scale across digital platforms, from app icon to social campaigns. The entire project was delivered in 6 days, and the client approved the final direction on the first round.
The Challenge
The AI product space is visually crowded. Dark themes, neon gradients, overly technical aesthetics. Most brands in this space end up looking interchangeable.
Dupeawaay needed to stand apart. The identity had to feel intelligent and modern without falling into the same visual traps. Specifically, I needed to:
Design a logo with a recognizable standalone symbol that works as an app icon
Build a color palette that feels calm and tech-forward, not cold
Create a consistent visual language across branding and marketing assets
Develop reusable social media templates for launch and future campaigns
Make the brand feel approachable to developers, creators, and productivity users
Research & Direction
Before touching any design tools, I studied how modern SaaS and AI brands position themselves visually. The patterns were clear: most lean heavily into dark, futuristic aesthetics.
I pushed the opposite direction. The visual strategy centered on:
Minimal, spacious layouts
Soft gradients over harsh contrasts
Rounded interface elements
Generous white space
Calm, technology-inspired colors
Friendly, readable typography
The goal was to make Dupeawaay feel intelligent and organized without feeling intimidating.
Brand Identity
The identity pairs a clean abstract symbol with a modern sans-serif wordmark. The symbol was designed to communicate intelligence, organization, flow, and connectivity while remaining simple enough to work at any size.
It functions independently as an app icon and maintains full recognition alongside the logotype.
Color Palette
The palette uses a soft gradient-inspired system:
Sky Blue — #7EBBE1
Mint Green — #BCD9CE
White — #FFFFFF
These were chosen to create a calm, trustworthy presence that immediately differentiates Dupeawaay from the darker competitors in the AI space.
Marketing Assets
Beyond the core identity, I designed a full set of launch-ready promotional materials:
Instagram story concepts
Product announcement templates
Feature promotion cards
Brand presentation visuals
Marketing mockups
Merchandise visualizations
A reusable social media design system
Every asset follows the same spacing, typography, and color principles to keep the brand consistent across every touchpoint.
