Objective: The project’s goal was to design a series of eye-catching GIF animations that could be used as Instagram stickers to promote the client’s brand. These stickers were intended to enhance the brand’s visibility, engage audiences, and support its marketing strategy by appearing in search results based on specific keywords.

Context: This project was part of a larger social media campaign aimed at increasing brand awareness. The stickers were designed to align with the brand’s identity, featuring playful and dynamic elements to attract attention on Instagram. To achieve this, the stickers were uploaded to a verified GIPHY account, ensuring they could be easily integrated into Instagram’s search functionality.

Challenges: The main challenge was creating stickers that were both visually appealing and optimized for Instagram’s GIF format. Each animation had to convey the brand’s essence in just a few seconds while maintaining technical compatibility with GIPHY’s requirements. Additionally, keyword tagging was crucial for ensuring the stickers appeared in relevant searches, requiring strategic planning and execution.

Solution: Using Adobe After Effects, I designed a series of vibrant, looped animations tailored to Instagram’s aesthetic and GIPHY’s guidelines. Each GIF was carefully crafted to align with the brand’s style, using playful motion and bright colors to attract attention. After finalizing the animations, I uploaded them to the client’s GIPHY account and added strategic keyword tags to optimize discoverability on Instagram.

Lessons Learned: This project emphasized the importance of balancing creativity with technical requirements, particularly for platforms with specific guidelines. I also gained deeper insights into leveraging GIPHY as a tool for enhancing brand visibility on social media.

What I’d Do Differently: In the future, I’d explore incorporating interactive or user-driven elements in GIF designs to further boost engagement.
