What is Team Anywhere?
Team Anywhere is a leadership podcast hosted by Mitch Simon, dedicated to uncovering how leaders build high-performing teams and cultures in remote and hybrid environments. The show shares practical strategies, mindset shifts, and real stories from managers leading across cities, countries, and time zones.
What was the challenge?
Mitch and I started working together in 2018, back when I was still in college. Our relationship began with social media support, but in 2021, we pivoted into podcasting to amplify his leadership philosophy through a new medium.
The challenge was building a full podcast system that could scale: Mitch needed a lean but consistent production flow that handled content from recording to publishing — all while promoting it across web, email, and social media without draining his time.
What did we do?
From 2021 to its final episode in 2024, I supported Team Anywhere through:
✅ End-to-end podcast production — video and audio editing, intros/outros, sound cleanup, and formatting
✅ Short-form content — created episode snippets and Shorts for audience engagement
✅ Publishing & automation — scheduled and published episodes on Spotify, YouTube, and other platforms
✅ Content repurposing — wrote show notes and turned each episode into a blog post for SEO and website content
✅ Social media scheduling — managed episode promotion across platforms
✅ Guest comms & workflow automation — emailed guests and automated repetitive tasks to save hours of admin work
What were the results?
🎯 Helped Team Anywhere reach Top 20 in its category in 2022
🎯 Drove thousands of new website visits for coaching services and lead generation
🎯 Saved the client hundreds of hours by systemizing editing, publishing, and guest management
