SŌLACE — A Boutique Hotel Operating System

SŌLACE is a self-initiated boutique hospitality concept set between Istanbul and the water. I designed and built the experience end-to-end in Bolt.new, combining cinematic art direction with the functional structure of a real hotel platform.

The Challenge

Boutique hotel websites often create atmosphere beautifully, then hand the guest over to a disconnected and generic booking experience.
I wanted to explore a different model: one coherent digital system that could introduce the house, help guests understand the rooms, collect booking inquiries and extend into guest and staff-facing experiences without losing its visual identity.

Creative Direction

The visual language was shaped around Istanbul light, quiet architecture and the movement of water.
Editorial typography, restrained colour, generous spacing and slow transitions create a sense of calm without making the interface feel empty. The public experience was designed to feel closer to entering a place than browsing a conventional hotel website.

The Experience

The public-facing platform includes:
A cinematic, motion-led homepage
Individual Stay, Dine, Experience and Journal sections
A six-room catalogue with pricing and room categories
Detailed room pages with capacity, amenities, editorial descriptions and galleries
A booking inquiry flow for dates, guest count and personal requests
Responsive navigation and interaction behaviour
Beyond the marketing website, I developed the architecture for a wider hospitality system:
A private guest portal
Dedicated staff access
Role-based entry points for Admin, Front Desk and Housekeeping
An operational foundation designed to connect guest requests with internal hotel workflows

Building with Bolt.new

Bolt.new was the core environment throughout the project.
I used iterative prompting to move from concept and visual direction into a complete multi-page product: defining the content model, building reusable interface components, connecting routes and form logic, shaping responsive behaviour and refining the experience directly inside the working build.
This allowed design decisions, product logic and development to evolve together rather than being separated into different handoff stages.

The Outcome

SŌLACE became more than a hospitality landing page. It is a functional product concept connecting three layers of the same brand:
Discovery → Booking → Operations

The project demonstrates how Bolt.new can be used not only to generate interfaces quickly, but to build distinctive, brand-led digital products with real structure, interaction and operational thinking. Live website: https://solace-boutique-hosp-esyy.bolt.host
