Serverless Event Architecture & Platform Modernization

The Business Challenge This organization was operating on a fragile legacy site that suffered from broken navigation, unprofessional styling, and a failure to communicate its actual community impact. Their most critical operational bottleneck was event management: the existing static architecture required the team to execute manual code edits for every single schedule update or past-event archive.

The Engineering Solution I replaced their outdated infrastructure with a modern, high-performance Vue.js Single Page Application (SPA). To solve their scheduling bottleneck, I bypassed the need for a bloated database by architecting a custom "Content-as-Code" scheduling engine that fully automates their complex event calendar.

JSON-Driven Event Engine: Engineered a custom, client-side scheduling algorithm that automatically calculates complex recurring events and auto-archives past dates. This eliminated 100% of manual code edits without introducing database overhead.

High-Performance SPA Architecture: Rebuilt the entire platform from the ground up using Vue.js and deployed it via Firebase, guaranteeing instant page loads and zero server maintenance.

Immersive Visual Overhaul: Executed a high-fidelity digital redesign featuring responsive image optimization, embedded video integrations, and custom interactive carousels to drastically elevate the organization's digital authority.

Zero-Vulnerability Infrastructure: Transitioned the client to a modern serverless hosting environment, completely neutralizing the security risks and technical debt associated with their legacy setup.
