Project Overview: We were given an assignment to create an art piece centered around the theme of "music." Instead of drawing, writing, or just simply slap a poem in a photograph, I created a short game. In under a week, I pursued this task to comply with the deadline. I designed and produced most of the assets, including buildings, environments, and special effects. The core concept is a platformer-style game with several unique features:
Two Possible Endings: The game offers players the chance to experience two distinct outcomes, depending on what they believe how it should end.
Immersive Stereo Surround Audio: I meticulously crafted an audio experience that envelops players with both the music and environmental sounds, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
User-Friendly Controls: The controls are intuitive and easy to grasp, ensuring that players can dive into the experience without any learning curve.
My goal in this project was to experiment with environmental storytelling, or telling a story by bits and pieces, and creating an atmospheric experience that I haven't really played around with before.
