Project Overview: In less than a week, I embarked on the development of a simulation-style game that draws inspiration from Nintendo's "Tomodachi Life." The game features a virtual island inhabited by characters who engage in various activities and interactions. The key elements I implemented in the project include:
Random Character Generator: A system that generates unique characters with distinct personalities, appearances, and preferences.
Schedule Manager for Each Character: Each character has its own schedule and routine, determining their activities throughout the day.
Random Events: The game includes a variety of random events that occur at specific times, adding unpredictability and excitement to the simulation.
Scheduled Locations: Various locations on the island are scheduled for specific activities or events, creating a dynamic environment.
Day and Night Cycle / Real-Time Time: The game features a day and night cycle, the player can also set the time with real-time, enhancing the immersion and realism of the island.
Character Relationships (Unfinished): Characters can form relationships with one another, leading to interactions, friendships, or conflicts.
I created all the 3D models used in the game using Blender, a 3D modeling software. These models were then exported and integrated into Unity to bring the virtual world to life.
Although the game remains incomplete due to time constraints, it showcases a visually appealing and promising foundation for further development in the future.
