Even death is no excuse

Even death is no excuse to miss CapCut World 2026.

I wanted to combine cinematic horror with absurd humour, taking the desire to attend the event to the extreme — as a matter of life and death, quite literally.

I started with character references, CapCut’s recognisable typography and a reference image of the actual event venue. I generated the remaining scenes using AI, refining the prompts through small iterations, then brought everything together on a single timeline in CapCut Video Studio.
