Static websites feel flat, especially for brands built around sound. Music artists, podcast creators, and audio product companies need their sites to feel alive, but adding audio-reactive elements to a Framer site usually means writing custom code or bolting on external libraries that don't play well with the design tool.
The Approach
I built a drop-in Framer component that brings audio-driven motion to any site without writing a single line of code. The component connects to live microphone input or pre-set audio sources and translates that signal into real-time visual animation.
The design challenge was making it flexible enough to fit different aesthetics (from classic VU-meter styles to modern waveform displays) while keeping it lightweight enough that it doesn't drag down page performance.
What It Is
A fully customisable, animated audio visualizer component built for Framer. From classic VU-meter aesthetics to live microphone-reactive visuals, this component adds dynamic, audio-driven motion to any Framer website.
Features
Multiple visualizer styles from VU meters to waveform displays
Microphone-reactive mode for live audio input
Fully customisable colours, sizes, and animation speeds
Lightweight so it won't slow down your site
Drop-in Framer component that works without writing code
Use Cases
Music artist websites, podcast landing pages, audio product pages, or any site that wants to add a layer of interactivity and visual interest. The component works as a hero element, a background texture, or a subtle accent, depending on how you configure it.
The Result
A reusable Framer component that bridges the gap between static design and interactive audio experiences. It ships as a single drop-in element that any Framer user can configure visually, keeping the build process fast and the end result polished.
