Let's Be Friends Marketing & Operations Lead

Let’s Be Friends is a social club and event brand designed to make it easier (and more fun) for adults in Chicago to build meaningful connections.

At Let’s Be Friends, I work alongside the founder to lead our community-building efforts and support smooth internal operations. My role spans managing our Slack community, maintaining and updating our website, and overseeing our marketing strategy across digital platforms. I also lead outreach for strategic partnerships and collaborations that align with our mission.

In addition to operational and marketing work, I regularly plan and host events that bring our community together by fostering genuine connection through thoughtful programming and social experiences. Internally, I help design and refine systems that support team efficiency and long-term growth.

In June 2025, I also created and presented a mid-year social media report to track performance and guide content strategy. Highlights included a 125% increase in follower growth, 1.5M+ impressions, and a 5% average engagement rate—insights that are helping us shape an even stronger second half of the year.
