This project is an A4 sized book about 2020 which is dominated by the Coronavirus. The goal of this project is to make people understand the severity of COVID and help promote safety guidelines like wearing masks and social distancing.
The Results
For the book, I started it off broadly to cover how the virus started and slowly narrowed it down to cover certain issues people experienced during the pandemic. The main color of the book is blue which symbolizes sadness.
To start off, the "2020" on the cover is distressed to replicate how 2020 was. I also incorporated a blue line graph to replicate the virus cases; if you look at it horizontally, it goes up and down. I then wrote about how COVID started and then symptoms people should look out for.
The following spread is filled with photos of how people around the world is doing in the midst of the virus. I then have two spreads of quotes about problems people experienced and lastly a spread to thank frontline workers.
