Undone is an Amazon Prime original series created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Kate Purdy. It’s about a woman that develops the ability to manipulate and move through time after a near-fatal car crash. I had the pleasure of joining the show as a character animator on Season 2.
The show’s unique look is created using rotoscope animation, provided by us at Minnow Mountain in TVPaint. Then the coloring and rendering is provided by our partner studio in Amsterdam, Submarine. The Amsterdam team also creates original oil paintings for the environments.
Undone received critical acclaim and was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Awards as well as the Annie Awards. It won awards from both the Writers Guild of America and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
