A personal portfolio that makes the thinking behind an interface visible through an interactive, scroll-driven story.
Concept and contribution
I designed and engineered the experience, interaction choreography, responsive layouts and original browser-synthesised sound. Instead of a static project grid, the opening invites visitors to confirm a fictional studio booking and follow what happens behind that click.
One click, four connected steps
The same booking moves through availability, a held reservation, a saved record and a return to the original interface. When confirmation fails, the saved booking stays intact and only confirmation is retried. Scene 04 closes with “You saw one click. I see everything behind it.” The cover captures this closing moment.
Work in context
Project stories demonstrate JPScents’ journey from fragrance selection to a prepared WhatsApp order, and Email PA’s route from an Outlook update to an Airtable record and Telegram summary. The site also brings together my professional journey, testimonials and a contact experience.
Engineering and accessibility
Next.js, React, TypeScript, Motion for React, CSS Modules and the Web Audio API. Native scrolling drives the narrative; touch and keyboard interactions, sound controls and reduced-motion reading layouts keep the experience usable across devices. The illustrated booking and project workflows do not create real bookings, orders or messages.
