Pay4Me — payment experiences for international students

Role: Frontend Developer at Pay4Me · January 2022–February 2023 · Team contribution

The problem

Additional verification and slow support from third-party payment gateways disrupted large payments for students studying abroad. Those operational constraints required a change in the payment route as well as interface work.

My contribution

I contributed to engineering discussions about growing transaction volume and helped build the Pay4Me.Pay payment experience around the company’s microfinance bank partnership. I worked with senior engineers, designers and product teams to turn requirements into customer-facing payment workflows.

Outcome

The payment workflows I contributed to supported more than US$500,000 in transactions. This is a team and product result; my contribution was frontend implementation and collaboration within the wider delivery team.

The product today

Pay4Me App now operates as Radius, and pay4me.app redirects to withradius.com. The linked live product supports international tuition and other education-related payments. The cover is a current Radius website capture for product context; my contribution described here relates to my 2022–2023 role.
