From DIY microsite to a digital platform that builds trust and credibility in healthcare construction.
Who they are
JAX is a California-based project management firm specialising in healthcare construction. Since 2019 they've delivered over $1B in projects with 100% client retention — not one client has taken a new project anywhere else after working with JAX. A track record like that should be doing the selling.
What they needed
The brand was working; the website wasn't. A DIY microsite was costing JAX credibility with exactly the clients they wanted to win, and it wasn't performing for the business. They needed a full redesign and build — clear messaging, stronger imagery, and a scalable CMS they can update themselves.
How I helped
I started from scratch, working with the light visual identity JAX already had. Rounds of design exploration in Figma settled how the brand should translate online; from the chosen direction I designed the full site in Figma and developed it in Webflow.
Displaying work
I wanted the way the work is presented to reinforce that 100% retention. So instead of displaying all 20+ projects as one big collection, each with its own page, the partnerships come first: every client gets a dedicated page, listing the long line of projects completed together. Visitors don't just see what JAX builds, they see the clients that keep coming back.
Copywriting
Copy was a collaboration. Working from Jack's notes, I wrote website-ready copy that's direct and explains JAX's offering simply.
Animation
The load animation is based on a JAX project currently under construction: an abstract take on the build process that plays out their strapline — from concept to completion.
Final result
JAX went from a DIY microsite that undersold the business to a digital platform that leads with their strongest proof. The new site tells the retention story at a glance, gives every proposal and referral a credible place to land, and scales with each new project and partnership through the CMS. Same firm, same track record, finally presented in a way that does their work justice.
And the partnership isn't stopping there: work starts soon on a second site, for an adjacent business opportunity.
$1B delivered, 100% client retention — sold by a DIY microsite. A full redesign and Webflow build that leads with the proof: clients who keep coming back.
