In today’s world, where purpose-driven communities shape markets and perception, a weak or inconsistent identity isn’t just a missed opportunity — it’s a silent failure.

Client Background: In a Woman Accelerator

In a Woman is more than an accelerator. It’s a platform for equity in tech. With a mission to democratize access to entrepreneurship and product building through NoCode tools, the program offers:
NoCode education for women founders
Project-based learning and mentoring
Hackathons and networking events open to a wider tech audience
Grants and global community support
As their presence grew, so did the need for a brand that could match their ambition.

Challenges We Faced

The accelerator was rapidly scaling—but lacked a cohesive visual identity. Their online presence, event branding, and printed materials didn’t yet reflect the strength of their mission. Key issues included:
Inconsistent visuals across platforms
No scalable template system for content
Lack of recognizable brand elements for merchandise and events
A need for inclusive, bold, and tech-forward design language

Our Approach: Designing with Purpose

1. Brand Identity & Visual Language
We built a flexible and modern brand system centered around:
A color palette that evokes energy, safety, and professionalism—without falling into tech-world clichés
Typography that balances clarity and boldness
A logo system that works across digital and physical applications, from pitch decks to event signage
Our design honored the women in the program—not as learners, but as future founders and leaders.
2. Template System for Digital and Events
To ensure scalability, we delivered:
Social media templates for announcements, speaker intros, and testimonials
Event signage and roll-up banners to bring cohesion across hackathons and summits
Branded decks and worksheets for workshops and mentor sessions
The visual system was built to be used and reused by a small team—without design skills.
3. Merchandise and Print Collateral
To bring the brand into the physical world, we created:
T-shirts, tote bags, and caps with smart typographic design
Stickers and accessories for participants and mentors
High-quality print assets for brochures and event schedules
The result was a brand experience that felt tactile, intentional, and community-driven.

A brand system ready for international growth and partnership building
This branding system is now used by the In a Woman team for every touchpoint—from applications to hackathons, from Lisbon to beyond.

Lessons Learned: Branding for Empowerment in Tech

This project reaffirmed something we deeply believe: great branding doesn’t just look good—it removes friction, builds trust, and helps underserved communities show up powerfully.
