American Black Film Festival

The American Black Film Festival takes place in Miami and features rising talents of the black filmmaking community. The event has launched the careers of countless industry luminaries including the late Chadwick Boseman and has done so for over 25 years. 

The challenge was to design a brand expression for the prestigious HBO Short Film Award which spoke to the event's vibrant Miami location while still managing to be flexible enough to accommodate the wide variety of titles being screened.
