Custom Ecommerce Build for The Sizzle

I partnered with Zack Mazur to build the ecommerce experience for The Sizzle, an all-purpose artisan sauce brand sold in three heat levels: Mild, Original, and Extra Hot. The goal was a store that matched the bold, craveable personality of the product and made buying fun, not a generic product grid.

I built the site on Squarespace for easy content management, then custom-coded an interactive Build Your Own Pack tool using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML that goes well beyond native Squarespace functionality. Customers drag bottles into a carrier, mix and match any combination of flavors, and watch pricing update live as they build their 3-pack or 6-pack. The tool supports one-time purchases and subscribe-and-save, with free shipping on larger packs.

The result is a distinctive, hands-on shopping experience that reinforces the brand and turns pack-building into part of the fun, while supporting both one-time buyers and recurring subscribers.
