McDonald's Canada returned this summer with their Summer Drink Days campaign, which is one of its largest campaigns of the year.
The objective of the campaign was to drive a high volume of traffic at the most efficient cost to the app or to local restaurants and generate revenue.
Problem & Solution 🤝
With inflation soaring and other external factors affecting people's purchasing behavior, McDonald's want to address this problem head-on and use an offer that would drive a higher volume of traffic.
The solution was to generate as much Reach as possible to drive awareness amongst users. Utilizing the social platforms' targeting capabilities, we were able to retarget engagers with lower-funnel efforts which drove users to the McDonald's app into purchasing other products, providing incremental dollars.

Generated 136,892 incremental purchases
Drove a Cost Per Purchase of $0.20
Resulting in an ROI of 788%
