Shipping a Veterinary Telehealth Platform to Production

The problem
VetRelief.pet is a veterinary telehealth platform where pet owners talk to licensed vets over video, any time. When I took the project over from the previous developer, it had a long list of problems and could not make it to a release.
What I did
Fixed the foundation first
Moved all source code into GitHub
Set up Docker for a consistent local development environment
Built an automated deployment pipeline with GitHub Actions to the production server, so every release goes out the same way
Then fixed and built the product
Cleaned up the bugs that were blocking release
Vet appointment scheduling
Notifications
Payments with Stripe integration
Zoom video calls for consultations
Result
The platform finally shipped to production and is live at vetrelief.pet. Pet owners, vets, and hospitals can sign up, book consultations, pay, and meet over video.
